I just completed my first Selfbow. Its a Red oak board bow with a redoak slab as the riser. This took me a while, I went slowly so as to come out with a good shooter. Its specs came out to be #44@27, only one pound off from what I was trying to get, so not bad. I have already shot it before I finished it with stain and poly and it shot really nice. Here are some pics of the riser. I will post some more once everyhting dries and I get the string put back on. I am also in the process of making some wooden arrows for it too. Thanks for looking and GOD BLESS!
