Aerial herbicide

We were informed that our hunting lease holder is going to spray our property from the air to kill undergrowth. Anybody ever experienced this and what does it kill? I am concerned about deer browse.

The spray is designed to kill all hardwood competition. Thereby offering the pine seedlings a better growth environment.

If this is a freshly cutover area, they might not spray some bottom land areas. Just depends on the management and reforestation plan.

It will kill everything except the pines where they spray. If you have creek drainages where they left 50 foot setbacks (or whatever the requirement is), they probably won't spray those areas. Those areas will get even better.

Best to disk the ground as soon as its done and reti or disk it every couple weeks to turn it under , with some rain it may help disperse it . May get a late season Plot out of your effort !!
