another question. I have been told that a dog will actually eat less if food is always available via a bulk feeder versus feeding a coffee can a day. What are yalls experience or thoughts on this. I guess it makes sense if they always know food is there, to just eat when hungry.. instead of overeating on daily feedings??..??..??

Mine never have. They'd look like potbellied pigs if I kept feeders in there with them. All I use feeders for are puppies. I just feed mine higher ratio food every other day in the offseason.

Yea mine would look like balloons! I enjoy feeding mine daily, so they are in decent shape during the off season.

Daily for me...when you feed everyday u get daily interaction with them....
