Was raining this morning so I slept in and cooked the wife some breakfast and had coffee with her before heading out. Trying a new spot near the river I haven't hunted in over a year, I know it gets a lot of pressure on the weekends, hoping this weekday midday hunt is a change up for them and I see something. Got a doe yesterday afternoon so they get a pass today, looking for my first good buck in a few years or a hog whichever I get the chance at first. Wind has changed since I got up the tree though, hoping I am high enough to offset it a little.
