In Harris county on a food plot with my son. Tried to talk him into goin to our box stand but he insisted on hunting the double ladder he has yet to hunt... Winds been swirling since we sat down and now it's rainin ... Maybe we'll luck up but I doubt it. He just looked at me and said " shoulda went to the box stand... Now we're gonna be cold and wet."

Ain't happening today. Thought for sure today would be a good day with the weather turning back cooler. Only deer I saw was a lone doe who crossed the road in front of me at about 6:15 this morning.
