tried it out for the first time saturday and i'll have to say i'm very impressed so far. it seemed like everything was a little bit better from the 40's and 320.

this small review is only after one day so keep that in mind

pros: batterys seemed to last longer, has a recovery mode just in case you lose your dog and need the collar to last longer, able to shock of course, the collar seems more heavy duty and more enclosed, better antenna, collar has a light that shines to be seen easier, you can track other hand helds, you can shock other people's dogs if unlocked (can be good and bad)

cons: hand held uses like a phone battery (cant just take AA batterys and ours was dead after about 12 hours, touch screen (i like it but i'm always pushing buttons),shocker system may take some getting use to- kept it on low so if i pushed the button by mistake it wouldnt light one up

all in all im impressed with the alpha system and after getting use to the shocking part of it, it will be even better
