Osceolas

I hunt turkey in North Florida and Georgia but lately I've become interested in an Osceola. In April, I usually go to Everglades City to fish tarpon and snook but thought I might add turkey hunting to the program this year. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately that far south the season ends the first week of April but if you can find somewhere north of I believe highway 70 the season will be in until the 21st.

Bring your pocket book $$$$$ and good luck. there was a guy on another forum that offered a week long DIY hunt in Iowa on his property where 150"+ are killed every year and several B&C bucks for an DIY osceola hunt and he was laughed at basiclly and told that wasn't a fair trade. The one downside is it may take 3 yrs to draw an out of state permit for Iowa.
