My son Chase is 21 now and between college and young ladies he rarely gets to hunt with us. Well this past weekend I was lucky enough to have him, his little sister, and their step brother down at the club for a little family time and turkey hunting.
Around 1:00 Sunday afternoon my two sons decided they were gonna double team and run and gun.. 45 minutes later we hear a shot!!!!!
10 minutes later we can hear them 200 yards away coming back to camp.

9.75 inch beard
matching spurs at 1.5 inches
Did not weigh bird

Both boys were tickled to death!!!
I was and still am proud of both of them.
Thanks for reading.

Congrats to him!

I wish I could get one of my 22 year old sons to come hunting with me again. I'm hoping they'll come back around in a couple of years to realize there's more to life than work, women and playing music. I did the same thing when I was their age. After college, I didn't start back hunting until I was 25. I sure wasted some good hunting time. Glad your sons see the big picture!

congrats to your son. you must have done a heck of sell job to coax him away from the hen's he was with at college. there's no telling how many birds and deer's lives have been saved, due to college women.
