Thanks for the kind words! If ya'll keep this up I'll have to let my hat out a notch or three.
The call is made out of Walnut and Crepe Myrtle. That Crepe Myrtle is some hard stuff, but it slicks up nice.

Can anything worthwhile (besides a campfire) be made from plum?
I have a section of trunk I wanted to make a rustic sign out of for my camp but if there's anything actually useful or memorable it could be used for I'd like to get something done.
You should have never posted your ornament pics Al.....
