I shot a deer tonight around 6 45 ish couldnt find it but def was a pass through, question if I find it early tomorrow will the meat still be good???

Hard to say, it will depend on exactly when she dies and where you hit her. Do you have any idea where the shot was? What kind of sign was on the arrow?

Well I def know it was not a gut shot, dark blood with bubbles in it, when it hit I heard a loud thud, like bone the arrow didnt come out the other side for like 10 yards so, when I shot her I was sure it was in the kill zone but when I got to where she was there was just no blood. pass through with no blood I am just so confused.

well I care about the points but at this point right now its not priority concern. I am sure you can understand. THis deer is the first deer I have seen in a week of hard hunting.

I was joking man....I hope you find your deer....I know how it feels to shoot one and not find it.
The Doe I shot a week ago was pretty ripe the next morning...I tried to save it but when the blood was turned I gave up....It was VERY tough to let the meat from my first ever Bow kill go but it was better than taking the chance. Keep in mind that it got down to 58 that night.
Best of luck finding her.

Scott, I'm wondering what angle the shot was on.....wonder if it was a
level" pass through.....maybe it took a while for the chest cavity to fill up and start spilling....I have had deer take about 50-75 yards to bleed.
Holler at me!

Dark blood with some bubble sounds like liver.
It will take some time for her to bleed out and die if it is liver, but I doubt the meat can be salvaged at this point with the warm evening we had last night.

Good luck to you and hope you find her......for peace of mind if anything.
