Nice brookie

Here is a picture of a nice brook trout I caught last Sunday evening. I was fishing a stream that is mostly wild rainbow but does have a few wild brook trout. I was surprised to see one this large. The cork handle on this rod is 7" long for reference. It was a great afternoon fishing, in just over three hours I caught over 50 wild trout all on dry fly.

Thanks guys, it is very cool to have a few wild brook in most of the streams I fish here locally in Western North Carolina. I've been using a 7' 3 weight Sage Approach rod for this and most of my small stream trips the last 3 weeks and have to say it is a great rod for the price. I reshaped the handle to my liking but really love this rod.
