My pops put in a pellet stove this past fall, and he has been buying them from Lowe's. I was wondering if there was anybody in NGA who makes pelletts to buy. Would like to find a good quality pellett for him. The only down fall is they would have to be in bags, as he has nowhere to store them in bulk. If anybody has any information, please let me know. I had heard of somebody in Dawsonville area, but have never gotten a name.

Thanks, J.R.

No help on supplier, but my cousin built a
"pellet bin" for his pellets..Approx 4'X4"
with hinged lid at the top to pour pellets in,
and sliding door 4"x4" bottom center
to direct pellets into a bucket....

Bin is V shaped at bottom so gravity flows
pellets evenly.....
It holds about 500lbs of pellets.....

Call these folks and find the dealer nearest you.

Tractor supply and Lowes sometimes carry them but not consistently.

I've experimented with many brands over the last four years and these made from hardwood flooring shavings have performed the best.

It's best to buy and store what you need as the good pellets get scarce by end of winter. The soft pellets sold at many stores are awful, low btu output and filthy to burn.
