To all the Georgia Bulldog fans out there. Can we PLEASE have Mark Richt back? ::; ::;
We'll trade you Jeff Bowden, Chris Rix and two of our top recruits from next year!! :D
Since Richt left, FSU has not beaten a top ten team.
The Miami game was the last straw for me. Bowden JR. was about three steps behind Miami's defensive coordinator every play. I love FSU and will root for them no matter what, but this is really getting ridiculous. The talent is still there on both sides of the ball. Micky Andrews is getting the job done for the defense, but the offensive coaches are wasting all that incredible talent.
Go Dawgs!!
Go Noles!!
Beat those swamp lizards!!

Don't worry, I'm already a dawg fan. Any fans that hate the Gators as much as you guys do are people I can hang out with. :bounce:
I think it's great to see your program heading in the direction of a national championship again!
I'll be rooting for Georgia to go all the way and be playing on January 4 or 5 or whatever it is this tear.
I'm afraid our season will be ending about December 28 or so.

P.S.

As I was sitting there watching the Miami game, when Fla State was imploding near the end, I turned to my hunting buddies and said " This is usually the time Rix screws up". Sure enough, the next play he fumbles the snap. What you guys really need is David Green, but you can't have him either. :whip:

Dog Hunter,
Don't think that Ol Bobby didn't have anything to do with those great teams. At the least, he had enough smarts to hire really good coaches like Richt, Chuck Amato, and Mickey Andrews, let them do what they do best and hold on to them for as long as possible.
This time though, he let his desire to help his son hurt his team. Nobody loves Bobby and respects what he's done more than me, but this mistake is going to ultimately cost him his job. FSU will never force him to leave, but the pain of losing will drive him to retire.

I couldn't agree more. Rix is as bad now as the first game he ever played in for the noles.

The thing that got Bobby is that tower. He has stayed up in the tower for the last few years, but has come down as of lately. Bobby has stood by Chris as much as anybody. FSU will be back to some degree, they just have to get a QB that is worth something.

All great college programs stumble after a while. Bobby can usually talk his way out of any situation, but I don't think he will be able to talk his way out of a 5 loss season. I have always like him. Can't think of FSU football w/out him. But I can't think of Penn St w/out Joe Paterno either. Sometimes it just time to step down.
