Hey Mike, besides the fact it is fine looking venison on the grill, did you do anything else with it (marinate).

mixed up some marinade with dale's, red wine vineager, lemon juice. sprinkle on some pepper and montreal steak seasoning and let it sit about an hour while the fire gets going.
put it on the grille and cover with strips of bacon. smoked this one about 5 1/2 hours. did something different on this one. the last 30 minutes or so i put it in a roasting pan and sealed the top with aluminum foil and put it back on the grille and let it steam from its own juices.
had blackeyed peas, cabbage and cornbread.....mmmm, good. :)
