I have seen a lot of dead pics and videos and it appears that about half use dekes. Just wondering who used them to kill their bird or not this spring.
Don't believe it would make any difference for me this year. Can't find a gobbler even if he fell dead out of a tree in front of me.
4th season without them. That doesn't mean I wouldn't use them on my next hunt if I felt inclined. Just depends on how I feel.
Same here. I'm inclined to believe it's better without one because the gobbler doesn't know where the hen is. I've used dekes in the past and experienced a hang more often than not because the gobbler is expecting the hen to come to him once in eyesight. Of course that could just be my bad luck kicking in.
