Lucky enough to have a lease that has 300 ac in FL. adjoining 1100 ac in Ga. He was roosting about 250 yds on the Ga side and I was able to call him in to my wifes lap 100 yds on the FL property. He was spitting and drumming behind us and finally(pretty intense) walked in front. She did good.
21 lbs. 7 oz. Spurs a little over an inch and heavy 10.5" beard. Pics in swamp and on hill in sunlight.

Nice bird.

Isn't interesting how you cross a state line and the season is open and a few hundred yards away its closed?
