well heard nothing off roost this morning, me and a buddy hunting trying to get his first kill. Setup on a promising looking ridge top, heard one gobble good ways off around 8 but we stayed put. About 830 we were thinking about going to the bird we heard, started to get up and gobble. We repositioned for him to get the best opportunity at a shot. less than 10 mins later he connected.

would like to know what type of acorns these are crop was full?

pic is of me not my buddy.

Thanks...they are clear cutting our land so we went blind on the ONF to where we had seen hens back in the fall. Sunday was slower but ready to go again.
