That's a really nice colored one! The only two snakes you see above 5,000' around here are garter snakes and timber rattlers.

That answered the question. I was wondering how high up in altitude they were found.

That one is colored up nice.

Our highest mountains here are just shy of 7,000'. They range all the way to the tops of them.
You'll hardly ever see a copperhead above about 3,000'.
