My First Spaghetti Squash!!

Wow you taking about delicious, tonight I had my first garden grown spaghetti squash and first Cherokee Purple maters--- What a delicious supper

Are they similar to Acorn squash?

Don't know if they are listed as a winter squash or not? But are mine in the summer??

mlandrum...You got it going on in a good way brother! A lot on here including me have never tasted a Cherokee Purple but man would I love to...if nothing more that a couple slices of Colonial old fashion bread, Dukes, bout 2 or 3 slices of a mater in your pic, salt n pepper. Not to mention the sghetti squash.

Looks good to me... The maters got a nice deep red color! No doubt they are delicious!

The wife isn't crazy about them, but she'll cook the for the family.

They go great with a good red meat sauce. Instead of traditional pasta.
