Here's one I just can't figure....looks somewhat Kirkish but has a heavily ground base and one notch. Could it be somewhere in the Dalton group? Your thoughts, please.

Looks like a used-up Palmer with a broken-off ear. Especially if it's ground. There are a lot of points that just don't fit neatly into any niche.

Agree with the Palmer call. Definitely an old timer if it was from around my part of N.C.. Nice find no matter where it's from!
