Heres another good wild dog topic

Coyotes kill foxes, reds more than grays since grays can climb. Wolves and lions kill coyotes. I personally never have known of bobcats killing foxes, but predators do try to kill off the competition for prey.
I'd image a fox wouldn't want to tangle with a mature bob cat.

Of all wild canid species and the most widely spread canid on earth foxes are not pack animals.

Of all canids that exist and live in pack structures foxes are the sole solitary dogs except during breeding periods.

My favorite wild dog too. Real characters. Smartest of them all too.
You know, I can think of three different times in my life that I have seen five gray foxes together at one time, all appearing to be adults. I figured it was a pair with the year's grown offspring. Every time I have seen this has been around November.

Last year, I was sitting in a deer stand when a gray fox came by with a rabbit in its mouth, with another one chasing right behind it. :)
