I see a big square body with short legs, but he doesn't have big bases on his rack. So, I agree with anyone that says over 2.5 yrs old.

I'd prolly also shoot him for some meat, but if I was trophy hunting I'd tell him to stay at the buffet longer post rut and hope he puts on some mass and tine length.

I have some meat so no need to use him to fill the freezer. I am leaning towards passing on him, BUT....as you all know, when/IF he steps out in front me that could change. Really want to see him get some more mass and tine length though.

Definitely a mature buck. Good body size; take a close look at the size of his legs. From the shape/look of his head, I'd say he's pushing 5 years old. He's probably grown the largest rack he's going to grow. Take him out of the herd, if you get an opportunity.
