So there I am. This last weekend, sitting on a creek bottom looking down at the creek. Behind me is old grown over 'thick stuff'. In front of me is the creek with all the hardwoods and across it is open pasture. I'm in sight of NINE white oaks and everytime the breeze blows I feel like I need to take cover from the acorns falling!
Total deer seen..... ZIP! :
There is SO MUCH food out right now. I bet they don't even get out of bed to eat.
They gotta get to them eventually. I'll be waiting.....

Same deal for me as well Phil. I started to wear my hard hat Sunday morning. There are so many acorns they are rotting on the ground.
