Went out today to put up a skirt on one of my stands. Lots of white oad acorns on the ground, but it didn't look like the deer were hitting them hard yet. Did find a few tracks and one small rub. So I've got some in the area.
Saw that one member had taken a 180 pound 8 point. Sounded like it was a good one. Hopefully someone got some pictures.
Also saw something unusual. It appeared that something had been pawing at the roots of an old uprooted tree. Looked a lot like a deer's hoof print, but I have not seen deer do anything like this before. I was wondering if anyone has seen where deer will paw at uprooted trees?
