I had to chuckle when I read your comment about sweating after your trek to the stand. I KNOW you must have walked a mile to get to it at doubletime speed. :bounce: Strange you didn't mention nuthin' 'bout how hot you got gettting the deer out. ::huh: :p

Very happy you got one on opening day. That I have never done for bowseason.

Now go back and get her granddaddy, after you rest up a spell.

I believe I remember that the last two years, archery opening mornings were COOL. It was a couple weeks before the afternoon/evening hunts were cool enough and bug free enough for this spoiled hunter.
I'm trying to be 'ready', but I keep tinkering with my bows. I changed the poundage a few pounds and believe it has thrown my tune 'off'.
Gotta get it finalized and leave them alone!
