Situation:Had my girlfriend home with me. She hasn't ever hunted but wanted to go with me. I took her Sat. morning in my stand and we saw two but could never get a shot. We weren't planning on hunting Sat. afternoon but we were running late leaving my house so I said that we should go over to my grandmother's house b/c she had been seeing deer in the fields late in the afternoon. Sure enough we went out and there was a doe standing on the hill. I sat down, crossed my ankles with my knees up, put my elbows between my knees, and took the shot. She ran 20yds and dropped. My girlfriend is hooked now for sure!!!

Weapon-Remington 30-06
Distance-65 yrds.
I was in my ground blind at the edge of my food plot, was getting dark, notice him walking to my scents, put my gun up, and he started to walk back into the pines. I got him to stop in between 2 trees about 2ft apart, and had to shoot between them.He was quartering towards me, and got him in the right front shoulder. No Blood, no trail, went in to where I thought he had gone and found him about 75 yrds into the pines.
