I am already getting a good case of cabin fever so I figured I would get the ball rolling for my love. Turkey Season. What will be in your vest or pack on opening day? What vest, calls and extras?

As last year, I will only carry turkey calls that I built. I will have 2 box's ( a long box and standard box), a slate over glass call and a glass call. If I can build one that don't sound like a goose , I will have a push pin call ( I have 2 beautiful push pin goose calls I built last year). I carry a reed type owl hooter and a crow call.

Ratchet limb cutter
Bino's
Chaulk, sand paper, glass conditioner
Extra batteries for my red dot
Mini mag light
toilet paper
3 x 6 piece of leaf cutout camo material
buckwing umbrella
extra face mask and gloves
3 extra shotgun shells
2 way radio if I am hunting with a partner
1 Jake decoy
1 hen decoy

I use mine alot for an instant blind. It works great and it is also available for it's intended purpose. To stay dry.

SCPO,
The port-a-roof comes in handy for rain and a blind. You can open the umbrella, stick the end down your gun barrell, put the gun on you shoulder with the sling and walk around in the rain with that umbrella over your head. It also makes a handy blind laid on it's side.
