Default searching for arrowheads

Is there anywhere in the Dahlonega area that you could search for some arrowheads?

I have never had good luck finding anything. I used to metal detect a lot and I never found anything while walking around for hours staring at bare ground. I have heard it helps to go out after it rains or to search in sand bars. Any other tips?

Go to the highest spot in the field nearest to the creek or river to start looking. If you don't find any material there, try another spot.
