First buck ever this morning
well me and my buddy went up to our land in commerce and got up about 5:30 this morning to go out and hunt walking to the stand i bumped what looked to be a buck so i walked on up to my stand and got set down and waited for light around maybe 7:30 something told me to look at the bottom of my stand i look down and what do i see a NICE 8 point so i ease my rifle up up and he takes off he stops at the edge of the woods [ im hunting a powerline] and then i let the dog bark on him he ran about a hundred yards and fell into a big ditch after i calmed myself down i got out of the stand and i hear BOOM! and my buddy shot a doe we just hunt for fun btw not real trophy hunter onsidering ive only killed 2 a does and this anyway we get the truck and head to his deer get it and then head to mine and didnt find any blood for a while just drag marks where he was falling and my buddy says lets look in the gulley i think he may be there i say ok we get down there and in the ditch is thebest sight ive ever seen my buck laying there
 all in all the day couldnt have got any better sorry about no body took the rack off at the processor wish i would have got a full body though

Nice N.GA Buck. I would give up some $$$ to be able to hunt near Commerce. Tired of driving 2 hrs south.

Nothing wrong with that buck. Mighty fine!!! My first buck was nothing like that. Let's just say they didn't break through the skin.
