Default Might have to go with old faithful

Been trying out all different types of broadheads lately with my new to me bow and wanting to go with a bigger cut. tried the rage and was dissapointed with how they grouped past 50 yards, and yes my bow is set up right and tuned, also the noise I didnt care for. Tried the meat seekers, good looking head but not confidient in opening up. Put cardboard in front of and behind a deer target and only got small holes, kinda scared me. Tried the x system, have to say impressed with this head and it might make the trip to Ill with me next week. I had to see so, I shoved a green piece of styrofoam in the deer took a shot with a field point hit the bottom side of it shot the broad head and it hit about 1 inch above it and a little to the left( maybe a quarter an inch) just might have to stick with the slick tricks. didnt know how they would fly at 332 fps but I have confidence in them now. Still will pratice with them a lot before I leave though.

Yeah mine really didn't fly great at all past 100, I couldn't hit a squirrel past about 85.

well when you have 4 arrows in the ten ring at 50 and one rage is up around the 14, the next one is low left and the third one is in the base of the neck I kinda worry about it.

You might not know this man, but I do. I've seen him shoot on a number of occasions, and if he says his equipment is right, and the arrows still won't group, you can take it to the bank......

Brian, I haven't shot mine past 40, but I get really tight groups with the Rage. I sure your equipment is right, and I know you can shoot. Can't quite figure that one out..... Let me know which one you stick with!

I heard some people having some prolbems with some high speed bows, dont know what it is. Not bashing the head just one of those things that didnt work for me. Ill keep trying different things though, that is the only way to find out what works for you. and it wasnt the pratice heads they flew great just the actual Broadhead

I have to apolgize, I don't know the man and am not doubting his word or equipment. It just hit me as funny, and I'm a bit of a smartalec. Just wondering though how many big ole bucks you kill out there at 60 yards with your stick and string?

Brian----You have nice stuff (even if is a hoyt)but how is the --TP-- doing these days????? I have also had some problems with some broadhead flight of of my Monster. Once you start getting above 320 fps things seem to change in a hurry! Good luck--KP--

I love the xforce. Blake let me shoot his a few times at his place. That thing was so smooth and quiet. My release was louder than the bow. I wished I could have gotten one before season started.

Dos this mean you will be shooting PSE in tournaments?
