Default persuasive speech

Here's the deal... We gave an informative speech a couple of weeks ago on our choice of topic, I did noodling. However, now we have to give a persuasive speech on basically the same topic. She said we couldn't change the topic entirely, but if it is somewhat related we could. Therefore, how can I either A) write a persuasive speech on noodling, or B) I know legal issues are a big deal with noodling, so I thought I would write something that dealt the fishing regulations that need to be changed (for example, the red-snapper ban) Anyone have any suggestions?

there is an argument among noodlers as to the traditional wade and grab versus use of scuba equipment. that might be a topic for discussion.

Noodling is good for catfish catchers and eaters.

How about how noodling is such a green and enviromentally friendly method of obtaining nourishment. Healthy excercise for the noodler and no living creatures or creature products (bait) are harmed in the process, other than the catfish. No damage to the ozone layer from using plastic lures, etc.

But seriously, I have no idea...

Heck......someone would have to persuade me just to stick my arm somewhere not knowing exactly what could be in there but hoping it is only a catfish! And it would have to be some darn good persuading!

You could present an argument that noodlers aren't necessarily a few bricks shy of a load. If you could convince people of that you would have done a good job.
