Default lake lanier pointers

Guys i am not much on fishing in winter. can yall give me some good pointers, what to use and look for on Lanier. Just a weekend fisherman, uncle wants to fish like crazy, and i would like to catch some. lol

The fish on Lanier are deep now. I would drop shot or use a shaky head in the deep brush, creeks, ditches, road beds. A jig, and spoons can also produce fish this time of year. Some times when the weather breaks you can catch them on a jerkbait.

we mostly put in at clarks bridge and go down from there. recently we have put in down by big creek tavern. not sure what the ramp is called. then went to marker 41 on the map, and to the mouth of the chestatee.

use your sonar to find bait and fish,then drop a jigging spoon down on them.Most of the fish are 20- 45' deep. You can also throw a jig or a shakey head worm on any bluff rock walls.Good luck!!

I personally like a jig or shakey head on lanier. They seem to work well for me! Good luck!
