Sunday afternoon Good Ole Boy Style

Had a lil fishfry get together at the house yesterday! We cooked and ate about 20lbs of catfish filets about 2 pounds of seatrout filets and about 2 pounds of scallops. All fish were harvested legally and all rules were followed in proper Good Ole Boy way! We had a blast! Good food, good friends and good fun! That is what life is all about! See you guys on the water soon!

j seph, look on line. There's plenty of recipes for making it with bought liquor. Can't tell a difference in taste.

Mmm Mmm ya just gave me a plan!!! Operation mess of bass and catfish will begin this week!! Doctor got me eatin fish pretty much everyday but a man can only take so much of it being baked lol It's time to heat up that grease!!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Lanier has no shortage of 14 inch spotted bass that's for sure lol By far the best tasting bass I've had in this lifetime.

I soak them in buttermilk and lemon pepper seasoning overnight. Then shake them in a mix of Louisiana Fish Fry from Academy, Uncle Bucks Fish Fry, and Lemon Pepper and a lil garlic powder! Delicious!
