Wednesday evening I went to my friends farm where I hunt. Wind had blown all day Tuesday and was still blowing Tuesday some but I had cabin fever.
I sat in a big tripod stand just off a long food plot. I got in the stand about 3:30 and had three deer in the field at 4:30.
They were at the far end about 86 yards. I did not bring a shooting stick as the tripod has a rail and blind around it but it was too low to use as a rest and too far for an off hand shot.
I finally identified the closer one as a button and he fed right by the stand. I shot the first doe at about 50 yards and she went down and then bull dozed herself off the field and into some brush woods. Second doe just looked around and stood there so I loaded another round and dropped her. First doe went about 25 yards and was right there.
Called my friend to bring the golf cart and help me load.
It was getting dark and I never thought about pictures.
