I finally took the plunge.
Had Dodge pickups all my life. I still have my 05 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD. It is getting a little long in the tooth and the reliability was not giving me a warm fuzzy. Just spent $2k getting the front suspension components fixed. On the 3rd transmission.
Wife told me just to get a new truck and stop worrying.
Found a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Duramax/Allison combo. It was used with only 11500 miles.
Wow! What a combo. Inside doesn't feel like a truck. So quiet, it is hard to believe it is a diesel. Inside the cab is quiet too. Ride is much better than my Dodge.
Power is instant compared to my Dodge. Feels like the turbo is always spun up.
Now I know what I have been missing with the new generation of HD trucks.
This was an awesome upgrade that I do not regret...yet.
