Yes, but I was inside the blind as well. I made one from camo netting from BassPro. Thought she'd run out the open end. No. She ran through the blind which was the shortest route to the bird. End result was a variation of the three little pigs story and my blind wasn't made from bricks.

Shade and water are the most important. I don't hunt the beginning of the season because of the heat. It will destroy a dog fast.
