Anyone else? It will be my first dove hunt on public land and first time on Pine Log.

Got choosen for Pine Log for opening day.

Both fields were planted in brown top millet with corn border and sunflowers. Should be lots of seed and lots of birds. The best field is the one where you can see the Toyo plant, because of the power lines. The best time for flying is between 4pm and 7 pm. However, they will be flying in throughout afternoon in small groups or singles.

Good luck at pine log. I have see some questionable hunters there. Guys shooting at birds 100 yards away, not letting them get into the field. Guys also shooting at low birds. Just be careful
