Are power snares legal in Georgia?

I don't see anything specific about powered snares in the regulations but they do specifically state that snares are only legal for catching beaver and must be set no further than 10 feet from any water including streams, lakes, or marshes.

Im in Canada now. I couldnt find anything in our regs stating that and know some trappers use power snares some use tension snares. Some use both. Cabelas here sells both.
I tried snares but despite setting up in highway zones, not a single catch. These highway zones literally look like highways... multitude of tracks, ground well worn, thicket branches rubbed ..... but not a catch by any snare.
This year I stocked up on foot hold and conibear traps. Later this month I am headed to the west coast of this island for wolves { no yotes on island}. Will set up on same highways and see what happens
