How to tune a box call?

I have a Jack Scott Cutter box-call that I had to replace the screw. Looking for ideas how to properly tune it?

You shouldn't have to do much to tune it, just hand tighten the screw until you get the sound you like. It will probably get higher pitched once you get past level

You may need a little chalk

Call makers use a knife or sometimes sand paper to fine tune a box but It should have already been tuned. It's more complicated than it sounds and I wouldn't recommend unless you really know what you're doing.
