Has anyone fished Lathem lately? Any Reports?

Just went today. Caught em on a 4 inch dead ringer with a small splitshot. I got skunked until about noon then it was on.
Got about 8 all in the timber and visible blowdowns. All of em hit pretty close to the bank.
Also got some nice hits on the white small flukes but missed the hook set wich is pretty normal with me and flukes.
I did get nailed by a huge shellcracker on the dead ringer, I have not caught on like that since I was kid in my uncles farm pond. All in all a good day.

This year is the year I drag my butt up to Lathem for a day or two. Any tips for a first-timer up there?
