Switchgrass for screening

Is it too late to broadcast switchgrass? Everything I read about is frost seeding. Lows are still in the 50s up here. But I read that the seed itself needs to go through a chill cycle? Is this true

Basically, all I'm wanting to do is, put a few strips down at the end of my food plots, a strip for me to cross the plot, and maybe a half acre block up on a hill overlooking the pipeline plot. Could I spray gly and broadcast now, or is tillage required? I know it's tough to get going, but I don't want to wait another year. I had it in my mind, I was planting it this summer for some reason:whip:

Ive been eyeballing the Biologic Blindspot stuff for similar applications, but havent pulled the trigger on it yet. Ive also heard that Egyptian wheat will do the same thing for less money.

Yeah, the EW is annual though. And I think deer browse on it. That's why I wanted the SG, it'll stay there and offers no food value for the deer
