Time to switch over

Well duck season has officially ended. It is now time to switch over forums and start getting ready to slay some fish. The 2nd annual Hunt for Life Bowfishing Tournament is being discussed as we speak. Just curious to see who all heard about the tournament last year and who showed up? Even with the worst weather possible to shoot fish we made it happen and hope to have a bigger crowd this year.

Just thinking about getting into this..

What can you stick besides carp and gar? (really garpike)

Since a flathead is non-native, can you bust them too?

See a lot of gar at Juliette and flatheads and channels at Varner.
(I don't think you can have a weapon at Varner)

Anyhoo... What can you do and not do?
The DNR is a little thick for my little brain as a starter..

I have a nice low draft boat if anyone close wants to "teach me"

Post or PM me please. Thanks!
