First Time Trying the Hooch

I was planning on trying the Abbotts Bridge area of the Hooch tomorrow and was wondering what the safe output would be for wading? Right now it says 7 Megawatts which is in the lowest bracket but I wanted to make sure.

Also if anyone has any advice please let me know!

You should be good to go, no water releases today or tomorrow.

ALWAYS call 770-945-1466 for current releases before getting wet.

I recommend bringing a stick with you to help probe the bottom if you have never been there. Good luck!

Just saw this post but still felt necessary to respond, another thing is learn how long it takes for the release to get wherever it is that you plan to fish so you can get out in time.

Also pfd's aren't required in that section but it's always safer to have one on, I wear mine on any part of the hooch I wade at all times.
