but at approx. 5:25pm today I saw 30-40 snow geese flying below low clouds from an evelation of 1100 above sea level in Milton, GA flying NW towards Woodstock/Holly Springs. I first heard their calls and thought I was nuts. Then I thought they were sandhills which migrate through here in the Spring. Then I saw them, no long legs, and 1/2 the size of greater Canadas. Been hunting in Arkansas since age 5. Made my wife come look to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Lesser Snow Geese for sure. All I think is that they got caught in the crazy jetstream that was running through Hudson Bay one week, then dipped all the way down to Louisiana in less than a week.......
