After a day full of boat trouble up the creek, and nothing but one big bonnet-head to show for it, we decided to pull the boat and fish the little salt lake by the ramp. We saw a lot of pretty big trout jumping out of the water all over, but none would bite. I was getting frustrated when THIS happened: (phone only take one minute vids, so this is one min of a 15 min fight)
She finally got it up to the dock and I landed it on shore for her, got the hook out, got a pic, revived it, and watched it swim away. Hope we get to catch him again one day.
