Used to have a good population of black rat snakes and king snakes here in da hood. Then one of the bleeding hearts started feeding stray cats and it's rare to even find a snake now.

I need a snake that will eat cats.

Go get you some of those pythons out of the Everglades. Should do the trick. Even get a reward too.:biggrin2:

It's a black king, not an indigo

The pictures I saw of a Indigo with an internet search looked just like that. Guess I should have looked closer.

I have caught a lot of eastern king snakes in my life and I never seen a solid black one. Do they come from way south or what?

I have about three or four that hang around my house and I have yet to see a poisonous snake yet...hopefully I won't! I even found two mating last year! Well, I think that is what they were doing.
