I just wanted to say thanks to Rob Leahy of Simply Rugged for making another much appreciated holster for me.

I found out about his work several years ago and have been well served by his gear. My hunting revolvers have been riding in them and now my favorite semi-autos will, too.

A slide style holster is really comfortable behind the wheel or seated for extended periods....simply shuck the pistol and place in a console or drawer and you'll forget the holster is there.

Versatility in that I'm able to carry any of my 1911's in this wildebeest embossed holster....whether they are 6" or 3". Gonna be handy during hunting season if I cary a 10mm along.

Anyway.....glad to be wearing this simple yet good looking holster today.

They make good stuff!! I have a pancake for my Blackhawk. Might have to look into one like yours for my 1911.

He can make stuff thats simple and, well.....rugged.....or he can kick it up a notch or two in the fancy, yet rugged still.... direction if you are so inclined.


I hope I can get blood on a couple of my SR holsters this upcoming deer season.
