Looks like it won't be Gruden. I have always they should have went after Cut. But he is getting a little long in the tooth. Don't know if he would want the headaches that would come with this job.

Didn't Texas hire a bunch of solid guys, and fire them without giving them a fair shake, not long ago? Where did they all land?
I'm surprised some of these programs don't dip into the FCS ranks and try to pry away one of these guys that's coaching at a No. Dak State, or a James Madison. Maybe they do, and I just don't follow the sport enough.

No, but for what it's worth, they are meeting today. TCU fans reporting Patterson to UT also. Unlike 5 years ago, there is a lot more pointing to Gruden coming. I'll believe it when he is announced
