Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans

Anyone use Rocket Mortgage online for a preapproval/purchase?

I know Dan Gilbert personally......he’s a class act......go for it....

Just wrapped up a re-fi with them at a very good rate.
The first rep I got was from my online inquiry. He was a total and complete car salesman tactic idiot and eventually told me that Quicken Loans could not help me. I was putting the screws to him for a loan estimate in writing pretty hard, which is required by them by federal law.

A week later one of his higher ups called and asked how the process was going. I told them it wasn't and shared my experience with them. Needless to say he was apologetic and restarted the process and it went smooth as butter and without a hitch.

I will PM you his name. Would I recommend using the app / online leader to initiate the process? No
Would I recommend contacting the mortgage branch directly and bypassing their pre-qualifying used car salesmen? In a heartbeat.
