I followed my wife out to a conference in Phoenix. While she was hard at work, I was hitting the community ponds real hard! I had never caught a carp on the fly before, so I hired a guide my first day. I used the guide’s 6wt, when else can we slap the water with over a $1000 rod and reel. The next day I used the 3wt.
I gotta say, the 3wt was a lot of fun!
